Today we we start a small project with our newest client Nova Integrated Systems Limited. Nova are an advanced security solutions provider headquartered in Northampton. Our work will include:

  • Liasing with their management and existing MSP to understand their current security posture
  • Working with Nova to fill in any gaps that they may have in their Information Security Policy portfolio

8th December 2025

Today the business starts a contract for new client DHS Scaffolding Limited. We will be undertaking telecoms rationalisation and a Google GSuite to Microsoft 365 migration. The project scope includes:

  • Requirements Analysis
  • BT PSTN line moves to Zoom
  • Creation of a new Microsoft Entra tenant
  • Migration of Gmail mailboxes to Exchange Online using Google and IMAP migration batches
  • Mobile device contact migration
  • Google Drive to OneDrive data transfer (100GB)
  • Migration of Gmail mailboxes to Exchange Online
  • Deployment of Microsoft 365 applications
  • Retirement of PSTN lines and migration to VoIP
  • Data and resource consolidation
  • Systems documentation

Due to the way the busines operates, the work could span several calendar months to ensure all users are successfully migrated in their entirety, we are looking to achieve a 60% annual IT operating cost reduction for the business

Today the business starts work on a 4 month contract for an existing client looking to expand their brand to the Sheffield area of the UK. CosyJoes (Sheffield) Limited have approached the business and requested infrastructure project consultancy services to include the following scope:

  • New corporate website to advertise and showcase the brand accross Newcastle upon Tyne and Sheffield locations
  • Site survey and network re-design
  • Testing and maintenance of existing infrastructure
  • Leased line and router maintenance and reconfiguration
  • Networking equipment rack installation
  • VoIP telephone install and configuration
  • Google business profile administration
  • WiFi access point installation on two floors
  • Build and install of 9 x Desktop workstations and EUC software
  • Configure and deployment of 2 x printers (MFP and mono laser)
  • Termination and testing of 28 x new data points as per plan additions
  • Systems documentation

14th October 2024

Task Force 42 won a new 6 month contract to deliver infrastructure project consultancy services for existing client Elysium Healthcare. We have been consulted to design and architect an SQL migration solution and strategy for multiple in house web applications, all hosted in Azure. The project scope includes:

  • Migration from multiple legacy generations of SQL server including 2012 and 2016 spread accross multiple hosts/subnets
  • Work with in house DBAs to Re-build SQL Server Replication Services sources and destinations
  • Consilidation of instances where possible to improve performance and reduce resource wastage
